Degrees of Failure are determined by subtracting the 10's die from I did not develop the system but love how elegantly it works in my games. My players love it unless they get a critical failure. Then they want to argue their way out of it. I enjoyed the first edition when it first came out and have a copy, but can't find many wiling to play. How different is 4th edition to 1st?
Also, are there plans to release all editions, or at least 3rd edition as PDFs at some point? Thank you for the reply. Don't get me wrong, I love print copies as a first preference, but I have lost so many in moves over the years, I easily had two or three copies of the 1st edition Morrow Project and each of the 1st edition modules.
When I am running or playing games locally, it's not a big challenge to take what I need to where the game is being played.
At some point, I will get the 4th edition hardback as I enjoyed 1st edition. I'm tempted, but without bookmarks it is of limited use. I GM off a laptop, so bookmarks are key.
Being an older gamer I am personally familiar with some aspects of issues encountered with digital files. Many depend on the reading device but some have a great deal to do with the individual. We looked at the reported issues with the watermark. None of us on the development team could reproduce the reported problem.
